The Dolphin Sound Prince Vitas unveiled his wax statue in Guangzhou

On June 20, 2019, Russian singer and "Dolphin Sound Prince" Vitas made an appearance in Guangzhou and unveiled his wax statue at the "Curtain Opened" Wax Museum of the Guangzhou Tower. The picture shows Vitas interacting with his wax figure.

The opening ceremony of this event (Guangzhou Tower) is for the wax museum to create wax statues for Vitas. Vitas is invited to visit Guangzhou Tower to unveil the wax statues, which is a cultural exchange activity between China and Russia. Founder Zhou Xuerong said, "We are hosting this event with the hope of strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples through folk cultural exchange activities. It is also a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia.".

As the host counted down three times, the curtain slowly opened, one true and one false. Two "Vitas" stood in the center of the stage, and the unveiling scene erupted with enthusiastic applause. It was not until Vitas greeted the guests, media, and fans in Chinese that everyone could distinguish which one was a wax statue and which one was the real one.

　　During the event, when asked by the media about "how do you feel after seeing your own wax statue?" Vitas humorously replied, "This is my brother in China." Vitas also said, "It is an honor to be in the Chinese brand wax museum, especially to be in the Guangzhou Tower, which is a symbol of honor and a witness to the friendship between China and Russia. The high pitched tower is so beautiful.".

Opening the Curtain is the Chinese National Brand Wax Museum, which has been engaged in wax sculpture creation for 20 years and has been authorized by nearly a hundred outstanding representatives from various fields in China and the world, including Yuan Longping, Yang Liwei, Zhang Jizhong, Lang Lang, Vitas, and others.
